“a place where no human should venture, for surely these are the gates of Hell.” – Simon Fraser 1808Maybe a tad dramatic Mr. Fraser, but the rushing river through the narrow passage way of the Fraser Canyon is something to see. The fish ladders along the river bed helps the fish scale up the river to spawn. This attraction includes a gondola ride from the top of the canyon down and over the river, where a tour guide gives you a quick 10min recap of the river and its history.
On the other side of the passage, you can enjoy some lunch, ice cream, souvenirs, or games for the kids. Or take the suspension bridge across the river to feel the wrath and power of the Simon Fraser River below.
